Bad Art No Don’t Look!

I’ve been thinking about making bad art.
The complete intention of the art just being bad. I keep posting things here and no one reads them. If my intention was for my bad art to not be seen. I would put it here because no one ever reads this blog. This works out perfect in theory. Let’s put it into practice…

You will find my Blue Ridge Mountain Photography Series at The Arts Council of Henderson County’s annual Holiday Artist Market.

You will find art here by many local artist of Henderson County including my Blue Ridge Mountain Series Photography

The Blue Ridge Mountain Photography Series is an on going series of nature images I have been producing for the last 3 years. I’m happy to have this series at the Henderson County Arts Council Christmas Sell this year.

Please stop by the Arts Council of Henderson County to see this Photography Series. These images work great as sets and are wonderful gifts.

I have custom framed many of my pieces with antique lumber which was milled and used by my Grandpa Rev. Quay Corn (1898-1990).

Quay Corn made a living as a carpenter and used the wood from trees off of his on property to build crafts such as clocks, and Christmas decorations. I’m proud to have the opportunity to use his materials and continue the tradition.

Many of my pieces are framed in this style!

I would like to thank the good people at Diamond Thieves Body Piercing for allowing me to displayed my work on their art wall from December 5th through January 5th! This is the 1st time I have shown these Sad Clown pieces to the public and I’m excited about the chance to share them with everyone.

Bleeding Heart Oil Paintings

Bleeding Heart Oil Painting by Hendersonville, NC Artist Wesley Corn

I have been working on Bleeding Heart Oil paintings this fall. The background is inspired by the view of Huckleberry Mountain as seen from my front porch. With the use of brushes and palette knives I produced the tri-panel series in earlier september, the time when the weather is just beginning to change and the leaves haven’t changed but are thinking about it. The Bleeding hearts in the foreground begin to take on their on personas as I create them. This series reminds me of different moods as the hearts experience different moments in climate change. The bleeding heart continues to reveal itself within my creations. This style of drawing an painting encompasses my traditional training as well as my innate passion for using art as meditation.

Each piece is 8″ x 10″ and may be purchased for $200.00 each.
